This is what I added to the message you composed to be sent to our representatives in Congress about the GAO report to support giving the FDA more power to regulate vital nutritional supplements.

Please oppose mandatory dietary supplement product listing, a prelude to the dumbing down of America’s world-leading dietary supplement sector that is pivotal to the long-term health of the nation.

This attempt to restrict nutritional supplements has been going on for decades. Giving the FDA more power to regulate supplements is likely to be a major public health disaster.”

The suggested letter is so badly written that I cannot figure out what it really means to say, so I can’t fix it myself. In fact, there seem to be whole sentences of explanation missing. I would like to send a letter through your website, but without a clear explanation, it is a lot harder for me to write my own letter. Please update this with a better letter.
