This is so beyond stupid we can add to Zappa's phrase: There's stupid, there's really stupid, there's American stupid, and there is weight-loss-insanity stupid.

I used to weigh over 280 pounds. I had normal blood sugar, normal cholesterol, normal blood pressure, and a healthy heart. I got so heavy due to ignored and bloody obvious hypothyroidism, followed by massive stress, much of which was caused by the medical "profession." Now I have had so many traumatic experiences I weigh about 180 pounds, losing large amounts of weight when I could not eat. I still have little appetite due to ill-health, but THC not only helps manage the stress but gives me enough appetite to maintain weight.

We live in a country where the education is so poor the overwhelming majority of people have no idea how their bodies function. We live in a country where massive numbers of people suffer constipation due to poor diet and stress, yet the government is telling us that losing weight is more important than a healthy gut. Got constipation? A really good idea is to paralyze your gut! I have little sympathy for people so stupid they're willing to damage their health to lose 10, 20, 30 pounds, when that amount of weight should cause no harm if you're exercising and eating good food.

I have known so many people who damaged their own bodies. A type 1 diabetic who thought some low-grade peanut butter spread on low-grade bread, followed by canned fruit cocktail, was a good meal (groan). A friend who took endless antibiotics and antacids, the antibiotics prescribed for flu and colds (I know that's wrong and even the MSM has told us it's wrong, but people do it anyway), and who ended up with three autoimmune diseases. And worst of all, my own partner who stuffed himself with the lowest grade food imaginable while working as a nurse -- meanwhile I learned to make artisanal bread since gluten was bothering him -- while at home we ate superbly and supplemented conscientiously. What happened? He blew out his own brain because he poisoned his liver, and the liver and brain are very closely connected. He had a huge belly and I suppose some moron would have suggested GLP-1. After years of idiot MDs whose training consisted of "I dunno," an ER doc FROM NEPAL (I can only suppose he hadn't yet achieved the first level of stupid) finally diagnosed him upon hearing the symptoms: acute metabolic encephalopathy, which he manages only through a very restricted diet and a LOT of physical exercise.

After 72 years I can only figure that people care nothing for their own health. They whine about symptoms, never research what's going on, and listen to some nitwit in a lab coat tell them to take another toxic drug. Who cares at this point.
