If he is perceived by the public to be a genuine reformer, then he may indeed be able to lessen Big Pharma’s stranglehold on the FDA, and thereby give air to dietary supplements, homeopathy, and other natural health remedies. Or, if he is seen as a misguided critic, then people may turn away from supplements, homeopathy, etc. Let’s hope he is given a fair chance.
