Homeopathy has been in use since the 18th century, is overwhelmingly safe, and has substantial evidence proving its efficacy. Yet the federal government is in the process of upending decades of safe and successful regulation of homeopathy. These changes could mean consumers would lose access to medicines they rely on to stay healthy.
ANH-USA is fighting to make sure consumers can choose homeopathy. We’re also educating the public about this valuable form of medicine to correct misconceptions, making the case that homeopathy has a rightful place in 21st century medicine.
ANH Victories
- ANH supported an amendment by Rep. Andy Biggs to remove FDA funding to finalize the homeopathy draft guidance.
- Within a few days, ANH and other homeopathy group supporters sent 70,000 letters to Congress in support of the amendment.
