There are many promising studies recommending high-dose intravenous vitamin C (IVC) for COVID-19, but the federal government is gagging doctors and clinics trying to spread this information. Action Alert!
A group of frontline doctors have culled the available research and come up with a treatment protocol for COVID-19 that includes high-dose IVC. Yet the federal government is not only ignoring this evidence and its successful use by doctors, they are actively suppressing the dissemination of information about natural methods of treating COVID-19. This violates the right of the public to learn about nutritionally-based therapies that are not only supported by solid scientific research but are also potentially lifesaving.
The medical team provides many studies, including randomized controlled trials, to support the use of IVC in COVID-19 treatment. This includes COVID-related acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) which characterizes many serious cases of the virus. The cited studies demonstrate:
- The antiviral properties of vitamin C;
- That IVC reduces mortality in ARDS cases;
- That vitamin C and quercetin act synergistically to fight viral infections;
- and IVC was used successfully in China to treat moderate to severe cases of COVID-19.
Dr. David Brownstein treated 107 COVID-19 patients with natural medicines like IVC, iodine, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, and other oral supplements—and all of them recovered.
Vitamin D also has a lot of evidence supporting its use for COVID-19:
- In a retrospective study of patients tested for COVID-19, researchers at the University of Chicago Medicine found an association between vitamin D deficiency and the likelihood of becoming infected with coronavirus disease.
- A new study has found an association between low average levels of vitamin D and high numbers of COVID-19 cases and mortality rates across 20 European countries.
- Other evidence shows that vitamin D could reduce risk of influenza and COVID-19 infection and death.
Now consider that the FDA and the FTC are mounting a wide-ranging censorship campaign against medical doctors and clinics discussing the benefits of natural treatments like IVC, vitamin D, and others for COVID-19! Because IVC, vitamin D, quercetin, and other natural treatments are not FDA-approved for the treatment of COVID-19, it’s illegal to make claims that they can help with the virus—even with the robust scientific evidence, not to mention clinical experience, that support their use.
Doctors are perfectly welcome to talk about remdesivir, though, a new drug which is now considered the “standard of care” based on a trial showing an 8% mortality rate on the drug versus an 11.6% mortality rate for the placebo group. One course of remdesivir costs more than $3,100.
By gagging information about natural COVID treatment and prevention, federal agencies are endangering the lives of millions of Americans.
We believe these kinds of actions are really meant to preserve the drug industry monopoly on medicine. The FDA approval required to make COVID-19 or any other disease-related claim means conducting RCTs, which for natural products are prohibitively expensive. Drug companies can afford this massive investment because drugs are patentable and enjoy a period of market exclusivity, so companies can recoup the cost of RCTs. Natural products are generally not patentable, so requiring RCTs to make any specific disease claim—no matter how many studies support the claim—is a backhanded way of preventing all disease claims for natural products and thus preserving the monopoly of pharmaceutical drugs to treat illness.
The healthcare system in this country is rigged against inexpensive, safe, and effective natural remedies in favor of expensive pharmaceutical drugs. We need to reform this system that not only bars the use, but even the mention, of natural remedies that have not been, and never can be, put through the multi-billion dollar FDA approval process.
