The MAHA Mandate Luncheon: What to Expect
The ANH event on the Hill will be MC’d by Robert Scott Bell, broadcaster, health practitioner, and educator. It will bring together a diverse coalition of individuals and organizations dedicated to advancing the MAHA agenda. This unique gathering aims to foster collaboration and coordination for meaningful change—initially to help provide the best chance of ensuring that Bobby Kennedy is confirmed as the new Secretary of HHS.
Robert Verkerk, Ph.D., ANH’s scientific and executive director, and Jonathan Emord, J.D., ANH’s general counsel, will unveil their new book, The MAHA Mandate: Reversing America’s Chronic Disease Epidemic. The book, emphasizing innovative strategies for combating preventable diseases, will be distributed to attendees and Senators.
The event will spotlight the challenges and opportunities in transforming American healthcare in ways that align with Bobby Kennedy’s MAHA vision. A key focus will be to unite political leaders, health professionals, farmers, health food producers, dietary supplement companies, wellness and health freedom advocates, and other like-minded organizations and individuals across America to create a powerful coalition for change.
Why Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for HHS Secretary?
As we’ve emphasized before, ANH is non-partisan and does not take political sides. However, it would be a very rare, and probably the only, opportunity in our lifetimes to have someone aligned with our views in a key position to influence health policy. We’ve become accustomed to the opposite, having to constantly defend access to natural health options from government and health bureaucrat attacks. Given this opportunity, we cannot remain on the sidelines as passive observers. Instead, we must seize this moment to build momentum for a complete overhaul of how we approach health in this country—shifting from a drug-centric, ‘pill-for-an-ill’ system, to one rooted in prevention, transparency, and informed choice.
In a recent open letter spearheaded by integrative medicine physician Mark Hyman, MD, thousands of doctors and scientists emphasized RFK’s dedication to scientific rigor and open discourse. The letter underscores Kennedy’s advocacy for transparency in vaccine research, efficacy, and safety, reflecting his commitment to informed consent and personal autonomy.
His positions on many contentious issues are rooted in credible research, emphasizing the importance of open scientific dialogue and policy evaluation. The letter praises Kennedy’s willingness to listen, engage in constructive discourse, and champion evidence-based health solutions as attributes that make him uniquely qualified for this role.
