Thank you for sharing. Excess iron is much more unhealthy than too little iron. The biggest reason for excess iron? “fortified’ foods, and, heme iron found in animal products. Its’ impossible to overload on iron from whole plant foods. Beans are a no cholesterol, no hormone/saturated fat source of plant iron. Calcium is best found in green leafy vegetables or tahini, as we are not cows or goats, and it is unnatural for humans to consume dairy products (we do not need blood transfusions from cows either). All animal products contain generous amounts of saturated fats, cholesterol, as well as hormones. Excess calcium in our diets is linked to heart problems. 99.5% of all farm animals are fed B12 supplements, so most omnivore humans “get” their B12 from supplements. However, a good percentage of omnivore’s have low B12 levels as they likely also have gut problems. I am a whole food ethical vegan for many years and my B12 levels are amazingly high. cheers, for more info:. https://nutritionfacts.org/2014/11/27/how-avoiding-eggs-could-help-you-avoid-diabetes/ https://nutritionfacts.org/video/breast-cancer-and-the-bovine-leukemia-virus-in-meat-and-dairy/
