The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), hugely funded by vaccine makers, calls for a police-state approach to vaccination. Action Alerts!
Last month, the Academy, in a report titled “Countering Vaccine Hesitancy,” called for the elimination of all non-medical exemptions to vaccinations, including religious exemptions, on the model of California.
Released alongside this report was another report, also from the AAP, bemoaning the increase in vaccine refusals. The report also endorsed doctors’ “firing” patients who refuse to follow the government’s precise vaccination schedule, and found the number of physicians who have adopted such a policy to have nearly doubled between 2006 and 2013.
This is a serious threat. When organizations like the American Medical Association (AMA) and the AAP call for the elimination of non-medical exemptions, lawmakers are “covered” and can do whatever the vaccine company campaign donors tell them to do. We’ve already seen an aggressive attempt in Virginia earlier this year, which was fortunately rebuffed with lots of grassroots help. At least ten other states introduced similar legislation as well.
The AAP does not make it easy to follow its deep ties with the vaccine industry. But some of the facts are available. Corporate members of the AAP’s Friends of Children Fund reads like a Who’s Who of the vaccine business: Merck, Pfizer, Sanofi Pasteur (the largest company in the world devoted entirely to vaccines), AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Meda Pharmaceuticals, Novo Nordisk, and others. In the program for the AAP’s October 2016 conference, more than 300 companies are listed as exhibitors, including familiar names like GlaxoSmithKline, Proctor & Gamble, Gerber, most of the above drug companies, and many more besides.
If that weren’t enough, a news report from 2011 concluded that “the vaccine industry gives millions to [the AAP] for conferences, grants, medical education classes and even helped build their headquarters. The totals are kept secret, but public documents reveal bits and pieces” (emphasis added).
Those “bits and pieces” include a $342,000 payment from Wyeth, maker of the pneumococcal vaccine, and a $433,000 contribution from Merck the same year the Academy endorsed Merck’s HPV vaccine Gardasil—which went on to earn Merck $1.9 billion in sales last year.
The AAP also receives money from the federal government, which has vested financial interests in selling vaccines. It’s no surprise that taxpayer money is being used to fund an organization calling for complete government control of what goes into our children’s bodies—and no doubt, in time, everyone’s body.
The stench of corruption here is unmistakable. In our view, the AAP is completely compromised by its conflicts of interest and has become a front group for Big Pharma. We do not believe that the drug industry is donating such large sums of money out of the goodness of its heart. Our children are paying the price. Just consider the HPV vaccine. More and more data shows how dangerous this particular vaccine can be—yet HPV vaccine advertising is in high gear.
Many Americans are rightly concerned about the how the payments doctors receive from pharmaceutical companies are influencing the types of medication the doctors prescribe. Yet when the discussion turns to vaccines, few critics acknowledge or seem concerned about the extent to which the vaccine industry influences vaccine defenders like the AAP, the AMA, and “experts” like Dr. Paul Offit, who famously said that babies could tolerate “10,000 vaccines at once.” Offit happens to hold a patent on a vaccine he developed with Merck, and holds a $1.5 million research chair position at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia—a position funded by Merck.
Given these facts—and, of course, legitimate scientific concerns about the safety of vaccinations, along with questions about why they cannot be made safer—it is imperative that parents’ right to make an informed decision regarding their children’s health is preserved. Shame on the AAP for shilling for vaccine manufacturers!

Have you noticed the doctor always has some free samples to give you? When you fill that script it is the same stuff. The AAP and the AMA are in bed with big pharma. This is nothing new. Most people trust their doctor to a fault which could and can cost them their life. I went through a similar situation and doctors do cover each other.
If the government can dictate what medication you will take, you have a problem. Do you really want to be a test subject? Who is to say what these vaccines really are and for what purpose.
There has never been safe vaccine, ever. Vaccines are never tested against true placebo in clinical trials, only against another vaccine or all the toxins and filth, minus virus. Of course such flawed studies find them “safe and effective”. They are nt safe and not effective. There has never been a large study, comparing vaccinated against unvaccinated children. One small study in Germany found the rate of chronic diseases in vaccinated much higher than in unvaccinated. All vaccines destroy natural immune system, cause autoimmune, neurological, and other chronic diseases. Spreading the poison will not make it harmless. Commenter Abresh above doesn’t understand that.
Ignorance begets ignorance. When people blindly follow ignorant people, the bliss of ignorance looses all common sense. The blind leading the blind has more direction.
With all due respect the HPV vaccine is safe. The bigger issue is that it is a vaccine for an STD, which if you live in a dreamworld where people are not sexually active until 18 or later would not be necessary.
We live in the real world however and the fact is that people are sexually active before 18 years of age, therefore the HPV vaccine is reasonable to require or mandate.
I have friends whose children have been harmed (autism and worse) by vaccines IN CONNECTION WITH GENETIC DISORDERS. I have none whose normal children who did not have those common genetic disorders in question and were harmed by vaccination.
That said, it is time to focus on making vaccination safer and to perhaps spread out more our current vaccination schedule for children and look at not requiring some of the current vaccines that we require.
There is NO objective independent scientific proof that the HPV vaccine is safe whatsoever. All the studies have been conducted by parties with financial interest in the outcome and no large scale proper double blind studies were run with prepubescent girls and boys who are now being coerced to be vaccinated. The benefits are un-proven while the side effects, including deaths, are real. Most developed democratic countries have either no mandatory vaccination schedule or a minimal mandatory schedule. In contrast we have an ever larger mandatory vaccination schedule which is becoming extremist. However, there is no data supporting that our extremist mandatory vaccination schedule have resulted in a healthier population compared to those other developed countries in Europe. This whole undemocratic extremist mandatory vaccination push is simply due to the unchecked unlimited greed of the vaccine manufacturers who pay/bribe the doctors, the AMA and other medical associations (and the CDC and our so called representatives in Washington and in state capitals) to push an ever growing mandatory vaccination schedule that has un-proven benefits but proven harm. The pharma-medical mafia that has taken over our health care system has to be broken up.
There is also no actual evidence Gardeathsil has saved one person. How would they prove it?
why, the same way they prove all those other vaccine saved lives.
Yea just take credit for it.
You have not understood the depth of venality involved. Please pay attention.” Informed consent” and “first, do no harm” are the bedrock of medical ethics. How about Occupy, Round Two?
Right. Hippocrates said Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.– Hippocrates, father of medicine, 431 B.C. The Hippocratic Oath, “first, do no harm” has been lost.
The HPV is another one of those vaccines that the manufacturer insisted was so vital that it could NOT wait for the standard testing for safety (which in itself is flawed) to be finished before foisting on the public, so they requested and got permission to release it. The understanding was that testing would continue, but once they got the green light, all further tests were suspended. Why behave ethically when you can pump up profits by subjecting innocent youngsters to what has proven to be a crippling and even deadly injection for so many!

There is more than just genetics involved with vaccines, the persons life style and the quality of the food they eat has a big impact on the immune system, when you start by living in an overly hygienic bubble, your immune system has not had the ability to develop, and when you add toxins like Fluoride that further weakens the immune system, and Facilitates the disruption of the endocrines of the human body, it’s no wonder that we become susceptible health problems.
Let’s give Dr Paul Off it 10000 vaccines at once. That should take care òf him.
That was an outrageous statement. Even 3 vaccines is pushing it for a genetically normal ADULT, let alone a baby whose immune system is still somewhat weak.
But that “outrageous statement” were made by a “respected” doctor Paul Offit. He clearly has no clue having made this statement. Why would anyone trust him, or his pharma paid and owned ilk, on anything?
Offit also claims thimerosal and aluminum hydroxide are necessary and act like nutrients.
It will take sustained, militant protest, like Standing Rock vs oil pipelines for us to win this battle. Citizens of the world, Unite against medical fascism!
The sooner the better!
No way! Vaccines should never be mandatory.
Free choice should be mandatory
You obviously didn’t read the article. It was Dr Off It that said it was perfectly safe to give a baby 10000 shots at once.
Brian Deer, who seemed to be the instigator of the attack on Wakefield et al was working for the British Medical Journal which is largely funded by vaccine makers like GlaxoSmithKilne and Merck, both makers of an MMR vaccine. The BMJ is part of the General Medical Council who set up a show trial/ kangaroo court to silence Wakefield et al. So Deer worked for the GMC and his pay came from MMR makers.
